Welcome!

Dear STARS friends,

It has been some time in the making but we are happy to now send you the first issue of our newsletter. We are keen to make it a regular e-publication that aims to inform you of the work that our teams in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America are making, and that also adds information occasionally about what is happening in the domain of work, but outside of STARS. We know from practice that newsletters should not be long, should preferably provide headlines, and draw you to more extensive articles elsewhere. You will find such entries already in this newsletter, and will see connections to the STARS website. We wish you happy reading. Let us also indicate our interest in hearing back from you; your reflections on items presented here, but also your pointers to items of interest will be much appreciated.
