Dear STARS friends,

Please find here the November edition of our STARS newsletter. We provide you with a follow-up on events that were listed in the agenda section of our last newsletter. Our project lead in West Africa explains to you in his blog how locals are involved in STARS' work in Mali. And to enable and encourage stakeholder involvement like in Mali, we now have STARS factsheets available in French, Hausa and Bengali.

We hope you will enjoy reading this newsletter and please let us know your opinion. Whether that be your reflections on items presented here, topics that you would like to see addressed or other possible improvements: send us your feedback. And please forward this newsletter to anyone in your network who might be interested in STARS work. They can subscribe here. Thank you!

STARS now multilingual

STARS now multilingual

The STARS factsheet is a two-page leaflet with a description of the STARS project. Its purpose is to inform a wide audience about STARS and what it is trying to achieve. As part of our audience is the local communities, we try to reach those communities in a language that is more often their own or at least easier for them to understand.

It is for this reason that we now have a French, Hausa and Bengali version of the factsheet. You can download the factsheets from the download section of our home page.

In our next newsletter we will be able to announce the Swahili version of the factsheet. With a factsheet in Swahili we will be better able to reach our East African audience of the project.
